Krzysztof Wladyka (pronounced Kris-tauv Vlad-ick-uh) lives and works in the town of his birthplace, Olawa, Poland. He is self-taught in photography, and his most popular body of work, Animalies, has been exhibited in Canada, Cambodia, Poland and the United States, principally in New York, North Carolina and New Mexico. His work has received numerous photography awards, such as the Nikon Photo Contest 2012–2013, Grand Prix de la Decouverte, and the ViewPoint Gallery International Photographic Competition 2012.
